Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
Skilloopz (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It is written to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, Skilloopz is the “Data Fiduciary” for the data described below.
1. Personal data we collect
- Details you give us: name, phone number, email address, city, course interest, preferred batch, education or work background (if you share it), and any message you send through our forms, email or WhatsApp.
- Enrolment and payment records: program enrolled, fee paid, payment status, payment reference or invoice number. Card, UPI and bank credentials are handled by the payment gateway and are not stored by us.
- Learning records: attendance, assignments, project work, assessment results and certificate details.
- Technical data: basic device, browser, IP address and usage information that is generated when you visit the website, and cookies or similar technologies if used.
2. Why we use your data
We use your personal data only for purposes you are told about and have agreed to, or that the law permits:
- to respond to your enquiry and process your application;
- to enrol you, deliver sessions, run assessments and issue certificates;
- to process payments, issue invoices and handle refund or support requests;
- to send you important updates about your batch, schedule and account, and, where you have agreed, information about other programs and offers;
- to provide career support and, only with your specific consent, share your profile with hiring companies;
- to keep the website secure, prevent fraud and improve our services; and
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Consent
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting a form, enrolling or contacting us, after being shown this notice. Consent is free, specific and informed, and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us (see section 9). Withdrawal does not affect processing done before it, and some data may still need to be kept where the law requires it.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:
- service providers who work for us, such as payment gateways, website hosting, messaging and email tools, video-meeting and learning platforms, under confidentiality and security obligations;
- hiring companies, only when you have agreed to a specific introduction; and
- courts, regulators, tax authorities or law-enforcement agencies, where we are legally required to do so.
Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to keep your data protected and follow any restrictions that apply under Indian law.
5. Cookies and third-party services
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to make it work properly and to understand how it is used. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers when you open the site. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the website may not work as intended if you block them. When you contact us through WhatsApp or follow links to social media, those platforms’ own privacy policies apply.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, to provide ongoing support and certificates, and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that, we delete it or anonymise it. Enquiry data of people who do not enrol is kept for a limited period and then deleted.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, such as access controls, secure hosting and encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
8. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. We do not track or monitor the behaviour of children or direct targeted advertising at them. If you believe a child has given us data without such consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you have the right to:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- ask us to correct, complete or update your data;
- ask us to erase your data, unless we need to keep it by law;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- get your grievance addressed; and
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to do so.
To use any of these rights, email support@skilloopz.com from the email address or phone number you registered with us. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period set by law.
10. Grievances
If you have a concern about how your data is handled, write to our Grievance Officer at support@skilloopz.com or call/WhatsApp +91 99943 20567. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once its complaint process is operational.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will let you know by email, WhatsApp or a notice on the website.
